Back this Year! HONORARY SURFDOG LIFEGUARD DR MELINE JOARIS
Back again for the Annual World Dog Surfing Championships on August 5th is Honorary Surfdog Lifeguard Dr. Meline Joaris, @sassquatch_vet
Dr. Joaris will be on standby on the beach to make sure that all of our surf dogs are in great shape after a bit surfing competition.
“I’ll be keeping an eye out for our furry friends’ safety while they catch some epic waves in Pacifica. I rescue older dogs, generally from Muttville in SF but will be leaving my old, grumpy chihuahua, Phil, at home for the event – he’s not a fan of other dogs. A few years ago I joined Modern Animal, a veterinary start-up based out of LA and we opened our clinic in San Francisco, in NoPa, and we’re about to open our 5th clinic in the Bay Area in Russian Hill. I’m very excited to be able to attend this event again”
